Every year, an exhibition is held at Gothia Towers Gothenburg where upper secondary schools do a showcase for high school students. During my last year at Thorén Innovation School, I volunteered to do a live 3D modeling session during this showcase.
I decided to make a modern office that could be populated quickly, and be expanded on for the duration of the exhibit. This was the first time I worked with Maya 2015 (instead of 2013) and had to adapt during the presentation. It was a great experience and I learned a lot about keeping the creating process interesting and using attractive visuals.
I used simple primitives for most of the interior. Some of the detail work including umbrellas, apples, plants and fountain was made using more polygon editing tools. The colors were picked to look modern and eye catching.
